Description of Item's General Use: iMovie '09 is a huge step forward from the previous version. Included in the application are more transitions, additional title panes and a new item called themes, that can assist even the software shy person to quickly make a presentable movie.
In What Ways Did You Test/Review the Product: I have made several personal home movies of our vacations with iMovie, in this version, I can do editing that was not available in previous versions or I had to use other applications to create the same effect or audio effect. Now, these features are a right click away in iMovie.
Thoughts/Comments/Concerns: For the price, you can't beat the effects, user interface, and speed. Now, iMovie 09 only works with the Intel processor higher speed computers, but its as easy to create a movie in minutes, not hours.
The package, iLife, that includes iMovie, Faces and Places iPhoto, Garage Band and iWeb - is a bargain.
